The purpose of the Advice Note is to provide guidance in the use of the LA16 – Collision Reporting and Evaluation Procedure Form and has been prepared as an update to the previous LA16 procedure introduced in 2007.

 

This Advice Note also contains a flowchart of the process, assigns responsibilities and outlines oversight arrangements.

The updated LA16 and Contact List forms were issued to Local Authorities under Circular letter RW 18/2020 (available here).

 

The Advice Note (GEAN-2022-01) will be published in May 2022.
